I am betting OH may be the biggest. I don’t think the PA shoot is even a slam dunk to happen. The thugs that run the grand would rather close than go to Ohio. Not many will travel to Linn Creek.
Probably so. But with that said, it seems this virus thing is spiking up again due to opening up of the economy. So my thought is the Health dept is going to be very careful in letting the shoot even proceed. Just a thought.
I see this morning where the Illinois legislature has went home (in recess) and not to return till November. Now that is what I call one helluva paid vacation. The state is in shutdown & you go home??????
I talked to Bubba today and he said that the pre squad for the Ohio State Shoot for the first 4 days was up above normal but he cautioned that about 75% of the attendance is from walk ins so it's anyone's guess about how many shooter's there will be. He said that after the rush he has been getting 40 to 50 requests a day but that is between Ohio and Pa together so he can't really remember how many for each. I'm wondering if shooters are just more apt to pre squad to stay out of the line or more are coming. With the shot screen there aren't any BEST banks I'd say. With Illinois pulling all the BS they might not have a grand which would mean if the Ohio State Shoot ain't the largest shoot (and they have it) then the Cardinal Classic should be. Right time of year. I also wonder which vendors are coming to any shoot this year.
It will be the biggest and the Cardinal may even top it, especially if the Grand is a no go. We usually walk up but probably going to presquad just to limit time indoors. We were talking about it today. May be a circus tent for classifying, one for squadding and cashier in the building. I can’t wait to shoot registered birds!!
