Remington barrel question

Came across this barrel in a box, just moved and I’m finding all kinds of stuff...
It looks like an 11-87 barrel w/o a collar, fits my 11-87 fine, but is it an 11-87 barrel?
Only has 2 small gas ports and again, no gas collar or bleed off holes.
Says 2 3/4 and 3 inch.

So 1100 or 11-87 barrel? It’s 21 inches, with chokes. Perfect turkey barrel.

The Barrel is not stamped for 1100 or 1187 ..? I would try to compare it to other barrels from other guns and see which one it really belongs to ... Not sure I would guess and try it unless I knew for certain so you don't blow it and you up ... They make a hell of a Boom when they blow ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

You may want to go to Google and check out some of the information they have on 1100, 1187 barrels so you can sort out exactly what you have ... There are pages upon pages of information and specifications on all of the variations of barrels for those guns ... (lots of pictures ) so you should be able to match them up somehow ... Think it’s got small ports due to short barrel....

Talked to Remington about this today and the short barrel guns only have the 2 small gas ports

 

The 11-87 short barrels have 2 small gas port that is. Not to be confused with 1100 barrels..

 

If the barrel say 2 3/4 and 3 inch and is that short --Sound like my old 1100 goose gun barrel --The old 1100 full chokes did not play well with the first heavy steel loads -- Split my barrel at the choke --Had it shortened choke tubes installed had a second gas port drilled and turned it into 26" skeet barrel -Can't tell by your pictures, is the barrel in question has the one gas port centered in the bottom and the other off to the right? All 2 3/4 Remington barrels have two gas port -shorter skeet barrels just have larger porting -- I have never seen a new barrel marked for 3 inch shells with 2 ports --But there has been a lot of them reworked.

 

Well Remington says it’s a stock 11-87 tube. Lol.
