I have the opportunity to purchase a tm1 special 92xx or a 90t 12xx. Both guns are available at local gun clubs. Similar prices. Both guns hardly used. Will be my first dedicated singles gun. Both guns have release triggers. Both guns at factory specs.

I am not a great shooter and this is at the end of my allowance.

I have a TM-1 and a 90-T. Both great shooting guns. You should shoot both and go from there.

Both guns are passe with only a small cult following. Both are also very flat shooters so you'd better like that. The TM-1 tends to be fast and whippy while the 90-T is slow and clubby. I'd keep looking!

90 T will last you a long time without repairs. POI can be adjusted with an adjustable comb. Made in USA

I bought a tm1 a few months ago. In my opinion it is far better than a 90t. Doug Braker the gun dr fixes both of them. They seem to be his specialty.

If you are going to shoot the release go with the Perazzi. jmho

I have had both and agree the 90t is heavy and doesn't move real well. If I could find another trap gun that moves to the target as well as a TM1, I'd probably buy it. I have owned a lot of higher end guns but I keep coming back to the TM1. Shoot both and decide for yourself which you like best. I don't know what you could find with your budget that would serve you as well as either of these two.

Hard choice! Shoot them both. I really like my TM1. I began shooting mine after 20 years of shooting an 11-87 trap. I gained a bird or two on my average after I began shooting the TM1. Some day I will have the great people at Ljutic make me a gun, but I will always hold on to my TM1.
