ROSEWOOD BUBINGA 2 PIECE BLANK SETS FOR SALE SOLD

Two (and only two) Rosewood Bubinga two-piece stock blank sets for sale. These were cut decades ago when the standard spine height was 6 1/2 inches, so these are a little bit smaller than my typical blanks. They both have more than ample thickness at a generous 2 1/2 inches.



#6 measures 18 inches long, 6 1/2 inches tall at the spine and 2 1/2 inches thick. This blank is rift-sawn yet still shows the same horizontal tight grain flow with excellent symmetry side-to-side. Priced at $325.00 and recently trimmed and re-waxed, #6 will ship with a closely matching forend blank for $150.00 anywhere in the 50 States.



#8 is cut a few degrees from perfectly flat-sawn and will marble beautifully when the edges are rounded off. Almost a rectangle with dimensions of 18 1/2 inches long, 6 1/2 inches tall at the spine, 5 1/2 inches tall at the inlet end and 2 1/2 inches thick. I've laid my Perazzi tournament stock over both of these beauties and it fits with a border to spare. Priced at $340.00, I'll ship #8 with a closely matching forend blank for $150.00 to any of the 50 states.

Bubinga is very dense and finishes and checkers beautifully like Koa or Desert Ironwood. These are the last Bubinga that I'm seeing advertised, so grab 'em while they're here. For the enterprising buyer who sees the wisdom of buying both, I'll ship to one address for $275.00.
