Anyone have a referral for stock refinishing? My kolar trap needs a facelift Looking for someone fast, good and cheap lol. thanks
Maybe it will help if people know what neck of the woods you live in. Not sure if most high schools have a wood shop class anymore but I found the reply funny!
If you're looking for a matte/oil finish, I'll do it. Don't do gloss. What's your idea of cheap and what's your idea of fast?
Get some "Bee's " wax and apply several coats, the more you put on the better it will look and it protects it besides ... You can use it in between coats and the cost is very reasonable ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
If you want fast and cheap you'll probably get what you pay for. You shoot a Kolar and you want fast and cheap? LMAO
Not afraid of paying guys, just need a referral of someone you know does a nice job. My original post is being taken a bit too literal lol.
Years ago I used Rich Kaysa in San Antonio. He did a first class job on my Krieghoff wood. At the time he was a Krieghoff gunsmith and owned Alamo Sporting along with Norbert. From my understanding all he does now is stockwork. Google him his business now is Kaysa Enterprise in San Antonio.
They told me it’s farmed out to one of the employees. I may go that way but would like to see the guys work first
