Here's a picture of the hardware I was lucky enough to bring home this year. All of the trophies were won in the SV category, tough class I might add also! The four are for; HAA, HOA, Handicap and Singles SV wins. I call this my blind hog syndrome!! HAP
Great shooting Hap! To win all those trophies at your own State shoot is something very few can say they accomplished. You don't have to tell me how tough the Sr. Vet category is. My regular squad has three Sr. Vets on it (Dave Berlet, Ken Berger and Willie Anderson) and I consider myself lucky on the rare days that I can keep up with them. Like fine wine you Sr. Vets just get better with age!
That is really wonderful Hap! NObody wins that much hardware by luck. (Blind hog syndrome indeed) Ajax
Senior Vet Definition: Someone that has devoted COUNTLESS hours to a game they love. Spent WAY too much money on a sport that really can't pay it all back. AND DOESN'T CARE. Went out of their way to promote the game they love to new members. Has seen it, heard, and been involved in it ALL. Might not compete at the same level as they used to, BUT DOESN'T CARE because just being able to do it is enough. Has to compete with aches and pains the younger competitors don't feel. And, Someone, that maybe just once in a while, feels like they did years before and ends up at the top of the heap. Or in this case, top of the HAP. Congrats Again! Flyersarebest
My congrats also. That is quite a pile of hardware that You have won. I am green with envy. I suspect that it took a lot of concentrated practice to get where You are now!
Hap, that's really great !! You certainty deserve what you won as you have spent at lot of time and treasure to get there !! Plus fighting off the neck and back pain you suffer with, that's a big atta boy old friend !!! Tom Strunk
