I recently purchased a Ljutic mono 27xx. When I open the gun the shell extends reward but does not eject. The Ljutic system is much different than what I am used to seeing. Thanks in advance.
Some one has taken the "ejection sear" out of it. It is a little piece of metal that fits over the angled rod, under the barrel, on the front of the mono block. I've taken mine out because I catch all my hulls.
If it seems like an extractor, then ejector sear has been removed. That is one very cool feature about Ljutic, the enemy or can be easily converted to an extractor. If the hull seems to "hop" but not clear the chamber, the gun needs to be opened a little harder Do you know what year yours was made in? My serial number is 43S, stainless and was made in 1993 and still runs like a champ!
Evidently it is the ejector sear. I found the little rascal and will install it soon. Thanks for responses.
If you shoot steel rimmed hulls. Now might be a good time to replace the ejector spring with the stronger spring Ljutic offers.
