Hi Bill, that is a great gun, I have a couple of pre m70 Winchesters bought a like new 30-06 in the 70s for $149.00. We tested a 264 win mag when I was on the Marine Corps rifle team for shooting at 1000 yards in 1965 at that time we could choose to shoot a m70 in 30-06 or one in 300HH. I'm out of collecting classic firearms, thanks anyway.
