WTB Any Krieghoff Trap Special Pro Ribs

Looking for any K80 Trap Special Pro Ribs. For unsingle, topsingle, or over-under any length. Also interested in Pro Rib with barrel.

I wish I had a top single Pro Rib for my TS-32 inch barrel.

 

TS Unsingle barrels tend to shoot a bit flat don't they?

I have never used the trap special single barrels of any flavor: just the O/U. However, I recently witnessed a discussion by owners of both who were in agreement regarding poi differences between the top and the bottom trap special single barrels. Their take was they could obtain a higher poi out of an unsingle than a top single. I have a tendency to accept that based on my humble thoughts about the geometry involved.

I did not know a 32” trap special single barrel was ever produced. Is there a mechanical difference that would prevent a 32” pro rib from an O/U from working on a 32” top single? It seems to me the relationship of the top single 32” barrel to the top barrel of the O/U would have no difference. I am just curious and thinking about your rib desire.

It was certainly my belief that none had been produced. However, if a guy says/writes he has one; who am I to argue? I used to hear tapered step rib barrels referred to as step tapered rib barrels. The 2017 and 2019 price lists show TS for the conventional old style barrels and spell out trap special. It is a perfect example of the problem with acronyms and abbreviations. Who would have thought back in the 80s, Krieghoff would one day have two kinds/series of barrels which would have the same initials?
