Some vendors have their doors open. Some closed. Dust, bugs. Plenty of reasons. I noticed today that Krieghoff had theirs open Braxton Newman, Customer Service, said he it comes from the Vandalia era. “Hal DuPont wanted us to be more inviting.”
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Krieghoff bldg. in Vandalia Air Conditioned ? Regards.....Gerald
I remember Krieghoff having open doors at Vandalia. Hal had that financing plan. Doors were open then. Great they keep them open now.
At the Ohio State Shoot at the CC, almost all vendors started packing and left before Noon Sunday, The weather was not good for Business in my Opinion, It rained hard Tuesday, Wednsday, Thursday, during shooting hours, the Total area was not the best for business, You Cannot Stop Mother Nature, the roads were in terrible shape with FANTASTIC BIG pot holes, I was driving my Ford Fusion, and it took one hell of a beating driving at 5mph, when they get the pot holes fixed I hope they OIL the whole roadways to keep stones in place and stop the dust bowl. CC cannot be responsible for weather conditions. The shot curtains were a definite improvement, White Flyer has a Target Problem holding to specs, upon careful examination oof the Complete exam of 2 complete full cases only 10% were in specs. The Heavy ones did not float on the air cushion, they fell like a rock. the target settings are hard with Targets out of specs, the problem could be the Target Formula, or inexperienced White Flyer Employees. There is no replacement For PITCH. GB......................................DLS
