Ok quick and probably dumb question, if I measure from tend to end on a barrel off the action and it measures 19 1/8" what would this barrel size be considered?

19 1/8?? If you're asking what that would be in cm it is 48.58cm +/-
If you really mean 29 1/8 then that would be 74cm +/-
2.54cm = 1"

didn't know if even that it measures 29 1/8" from end of barrel to end of barrel do you subtract the length of the shell to determine that it would be considered a smaller length barrel or it is really considered a 29 1/8" barrel?

Break action barrels are easy, because you can take the barrel off and measure barrel end to the other end.
In your case, the Perazzi is approx. 29.5" which is very common and popular.

SA or pump barrels you'll see barrel extensions into the receiver, that doesn't count. You'll have to stick the tape inside the barrel till it reaches the face of the bolt.
