I use a dropout trigger. Is there a advantage to the fixed trigger in a Perazzi?

They do have coil springs. I had a MX-2000s with a release trigger. Never had trigger problems. I have over $1800.00 in my release pull trigger with leaf springs, and still not reliable. I had 4 different trigger people worth on it. Gave up

Send it to Lucio. He will fix it and he won't rob you.

Lucio will not work on a release trigger. I have tried to get him to

Well, I have sat with him while he worked on many of mine. Many.
I have never heard him even imply that he would not work on a release and he seems very proud that he can adjust and set them however a shooter wants.
Now, he does think that Allem builds the best release triggers out there and he has told me that he thinks the new roller release can be perfectly set to a shooter's preference by Allem and almost never needs adjustment.
But he sure does not shy away from fixing any of my triggers, from any maker, that need help.

Is the action bolt in a non drop out trigger the same as the one in a fixed trigger? Roger C.

yes and no. I can only speak to the MT6 thru the 80's and have no idea if the difference is still incorporated in later fixed trigger models. The MT6 has a lump on the back of the bolt that lifts the bottom barrel hammer to facilitate opening. I can take a pic of the two if needed.

My company makes action bolts for the MX & TM . not enough need to make them for the MT6. Have not had a request for one in the last three years. Roger C.

    Roger,
From some older for sale listings I could find on the net I read that MX2000's had drop out triggers. At least theirs did anyway. Did or does this model come both ways and the buyer has a choice? The OP stated that they came with fixed triggers and I was curious.

    Thanks

Both of the MX2000's I have or have owned have drop out triggers, the trigger on the MX2000/8 is selectable ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

FWIW the MX and MT bolts are dimensionally identical except for the hammer lifting lump.

MX2000 and MX2000S are not the same.
MX2000 is basically an MX8 (drop out trigger) with engraving.
MX2000S is basically an MX12 (fixed trigger) with engraving.

Are the ones for the MT6 and the MX12 the same? If so, I'd think there'd be a market.

MT and MX12 both will lift the bottom hammer when top lever is pushed.
