Walmart’s new four packs of Nitros seem to be somewhat dirtier than what I remember a Nitro being. Anybody else noticed this? WL
Many years ago, when the ammo companies went to 10 box "flats" instead of the old 20 box cases is when Wally World started dictating to the gun and ammo companies. Employees could easily pick up the flats instead of the cases that were twice as heavy. Walmart orders by the semi load on all guns and ammo. If the companies don't want to price the way Wal-Mart request then they don't get the sale.
The closest Walmart to me doesn't sell guns and it is useless for ammo. Never seen a Nitro 4 pack, only the promo shells in a 4 pack that are like $21
WalMart had Federal make flats with 8 boxes rather than 10 , when you are the largest retailed in the world you can tell them what you want and if they do not or can't supply it someone else will ... Thanks for your support and for shopping at your local WalMart ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
Screw Wal-Mart. Haven't darkened their door in at least 20 years and don't ever plan to. Will do without before patronizing them.
I remember back in the late '80s early '90s Walmart sold Federal game loads in camouflage boxes of 20 rounds instead of 25. Back to the OP, I have shot 4-5 of the 100 round boxes of Nitros and find them just as good as before.
Smelly Dog, I am sure they have missed you being a loyal WalMart customer, I see people that say they will never (NEVER) darken the doors of WalMart under any circumstances darken them any way ... There will come a day when you will have no choice if you want to eat and or feed your family, until then you will be one less person we have to wait in line at the check out for ... To all others, Thanks for your support ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
OP: I do not think Remington would set up a change in production for the four packs only. If there has been a change at some point; it would be across the board in my view.
