The gun is a 28xx serial number and has the correct angle on the locking block. I do not know if the forend update has been done. I was planning on dropping the gun off at Doug's shop this fall while in Minnesota on a fishing trip for him to check the forend and also check the springs etc. There is no problem with the forend at this time . Doug charges $150 to update the forend.
