Mitchd, I was booted for a post I made on this site. How about that///////. The bung holes have taken over the control of the asylum over there. Common sense seems to be a rare item to them. Their loss not mine. Roger C.

Even a nice guy me got banned until the end of January. Third time. Asked a simple question and now I'm a troll.

 

I was considered a troll after asking one guy (that drives a green truck) if he considered 20 yards handicap ..? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all ... WPT ... (YAC ) ...

 

I used to be sympathetic toward paranoids, but some make it difficult to feel anything but annoyance.

I got booted the other day for asking where to find the reloading data spreadsheets I used to find online.

That is not a healthy place, and they're not doing Trapshooting any good. They need to take a long, hard, look at just what it is they're trying to accomplish. If they're trying to help grow and maintain Trapshooting, and really, all forms of shotgun sport, they need a good, hard lesson in leadership and building a big tent.

 

As well as grammar and vocabulary, not to mention manners.

Ever since they were bought out by a corp. that owns many forum site, like the ones we talk about, they are only looking for $$$$ on advertising and other paid sponsors. We the shooter are in last place. That is alright with me I got you guys.

 

THE ONLY SUBJECT NOT VERBOTTEN, IS 7.5 OR 8'S. Any thing that requires discussion is above their pay scale, so they kick the inquirer from the site. They subscribe to the Forrest Gump line. Roger C.

 

If this is the site I’m thinking of I too was banned and had my post deleted.

A poster asked about what to buy to start trap shooting. I told him that I started with a put together Rem 1100. I shot great with it. I suggested buying an inexpensive shotgun to start with. Another member of the site told me to lose the penis envy and additude. I posted that it wasn’t envy, that I have a K80 combo for trap and a Perazzi for Sporting Clays. I also said that i’ve seen shooters with very expensive shotguns who couldn’t shoot well at all.

 

Welcome Robert K. I figure penis envy would of got you a position as moderator on a few others sites that profess to be trap shooting related, and where the 20 yard handicap shooter has all the answers and is probably putting on clinics by now ... ( No offense to the other 20 yard shooters out there ) ... The guys and girls on this site are very real, sincere, and will get you answers if they do not have them, some times supported by charts, graphs, and just about anything else you can imagine, some times not ... I suggest you read the rules and adhere to them (for the most part) and you will be fine ... I have been banned and they use some secret something or other type of ban for me, like the being banned honor roll or something ... We Love Ya Man ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Bill it most likely Double Secret Probation you broke causing the ban.

I recall an email from a mod there that actually made me laugh and feel sorry for him. I could just about see the veins protruding from his forehead as he blathered on about the cause of a ban with no idea what the words meant that he was using, and the personal insults were flying. So sad.

 

The more I think about it, the more I believe that the new bosses over at that other site are lesbians, probably even bull dykes that want to be like Dirty Harry.

Heck, I got banned for describing a so-called male moderator as someone who sits down to pee. Then his wannabe dyke boyfriends complained because I refused to join 'em in a swap meet. Oh, well, the 20 yd. wonder boys who always shoot better when practicing on the 27 yd. line now have the site all to themselves.

 

Oleolliedawg, I was banned for a post I made on American trap shooter. They troll our site every day. I feel sorry for them, as they really have no idea of how an open discussion site should be operated. Give an idoit a little power and they begin to think that they in control. Maybe I'm giving them to much ability for thinking. Roger C.
