    I know a person that has donated artifacts and monies to the ATA HOF and shot over a million targets.

    Is that enough?

    Donating money has recently been enough to change the rules for getting in for so I'll bite and say yes. Brad Dysinger HOF 2000.

    Don't worry. They've got plenty of deserving All-American trapshooters patiently awaiting their call. If they ever run out they'll simply add more categories to the team and voila-problem solved. It certainly doesn't hurt to offer a few $$ in contributions and the likelihood of moving to the top of the list.

    It would be easier to shoot 8 grand slams or donate some money than finding a moment the place is open.

    Direct copy from the THOF web site:

    Specific requirements for competitors are:

    Shooters with impressive records on an ATA-wide basis who are still living and have been in active competition for a period of 20 years or more. .
    Shooters who are deceased and have honored themselves in trapshooting on an ATA-wide basis for a significant number of years.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Seeing that the qualifications need to be on an ATA wide basis sort of narrows the field...
    ATA was not an organization before the 1920's, so that eliminates any of the great shooters from before that time from being nominated ?
    Rules are Rules, or so I was told.
    Different rules for non-competitors.
