This would be a hell of a gun for a new shooter or even and old shooter looking for a really nice BT ... WPT .. (YAC) ...
If a lefty buys it, I have the parts in stock to convert it to a left hand opening lever. Then It would really be a one of a kind. I am in the process of building one for my left handed grand daughter. Stock lock stock, beaver tail fore arm full set of choke tubes and totally rebluing job. It is as tight as new. Roger C.
Gary, How did you ever find a Herb Orre choked gun out west? I knew Herb as a friend for many years, but never seen him work on a choke. He had a horse farm close to Vandalia. Roger C.
Roger, I bought the gun "Out East" from an estate. Barrel is stamped --------'H G ORRE' I checked it, and sure enough it checks out as correct. ----Merry Christmas to You and Barb !!
It is a sweet gun Gary. Im just not quite ready to pull the trigger on it yet.. I hope its still around when I figure it out! Thanks
Gary, When you get back down here in God's country ask me about my experience with my only model 12. It involves Herb. Roger
Heck, I've got a 1979 bt-99 two barrel set I'll let go for 1500. Original case and owners manual. One barrel full and the other with a ** so I guess it's a modified. Both barrels 34 in. Little used and in great shape. 925=286-6816
