    Great day to shoot yesterday. Weather was almost perfect all day. Was impressed with the people working in the event center doing the classification, squading, and cashiering. Was not impressed with the condition of the grounds, benches, etc.

    During those years I attended the Grand at Sparta we had some good weather and that one extremely hot year when you could hardly breathe. Always enjoyed it anyway. Glad they are having great weather. Looks like the number entries are increasing.

    We should all take a minute to offer our thanks to those who work to make our shooting enjoyable. Most shooters never think about all the preparations made before they arrive and of the hours of work put in by those behind the scenes. Things don't always run smooth but some very capable people take care of problems we never know about. I always thanked the scorers after each sub-event.
