"The ATA has hulls for sale. They are sorted and color separated, once fired Remington Gun Club and AA HS plastic hulls."
#1 favorite should be the green and gold Rem's. I get more darn complaints from P/W reloader owners... and Spolar guys too with the HS AA's. Unless, of course, they are the old style AA's. The old style AA's were and still are my favorites in the reloading business, followed closely by the GOLD Nitro hulls. The STS hulls a 3rd, but they seem to have inconsistent and varying lengths. IMHO. Whiz
The secret I hate to hand out is the reduced capacity of the new style AA's. A few tricks with the right powder and they load as good as any. My Spolars digest them quite well. Yes, Remington hulls always have had problems with varying lengths and the new STS hulls don't seem to last very long either.
That's hardly a secret anymore; Kevin Lewis @ Downrange has preached the word hither, thither and yon since he went to the trouble of engineering a wad to address just that issue.
Columbus, you can get them from the ATA for .06 each check out : www.shootata.com ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
I've got several thousands the old style once-fired AA's, but haven't decided to get rid of any more. I did give a bunch to Dr Longshot a month or so ago. They were always my favorite hull, but I only reload a once-fired once and then let them fly. Now, my preference is the gold Nitro. WW
