As I continue my research, and talk to more members at the club (yes, the ones shouldering K and P and B guns), I am narrowing the field some. I am considering a Browning 425 Sporting or Crossover. Yes, I'm aware of the stock issues or concerns. The gun will ultimately be utilized in all three clays events... trap, skeet and sporting clays. I will be trying out the guns... trust me, if it "fits" and feels good, I can hit birds with it. Just looking for feedback on the 425, and secondarily, the Crossover. Thanks in advance. Safe shooting!! 1
I wish I could help you on your decision but I have never shot a crossover. I have owned a 425 for more years than I can remember. I shoot it on the sporting clays course and 5 stand. I shot it very little for trap because i have a Browning golden clays I shoot for trap. The 425 shoots for me very well, its my go to gun. It has good balance and it fit me right out of the box. Thats why I have never sold it. Rick
