Great idea to make a great site even better ... Can we pick on them for a little added pleasure ..? (kidding) ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

I talked to Jake a little while ago and he was getting ready for a shoot on Saturday at the CC. He told me they had 100 pre registered already. Brad

 

I thought I would never say this, loving trap, but sporting clays is keeping our club open right now. Rick

That same thing happened to my old club in NY.

We were skeet and trap only with not a whole lot of money in the til.

Along came an idea to set up a little sporting clays course in the woods using Trius traps...

Today that same club is all Sporting and is thriving beyond anyone's expectations.

Modern traps on the Sporting and 5 stand courses, and the pistol and rifle ranges going strong. The whole club is getting along very well !

Good on one hand, but not so good because Most all of the Skeet and Trap folks are now loving Sporting Clays for the challenge, and not having to have a perfect score to do well in a shoot.

Great idea. Our club was revitalized when we put in a 5 stand. Actually 5 guys bought the sporting traps themselves and set it up. They were paid off in a year, and now the club gets the profits as part of the deal. Those same guys help set up the traps now too, and they shoot the winter trap league as well. We go thru 20-25 cases of birds on Wednesday nights in the summer.
