I know it was a topic on the other site but the OP never put a poll on this. It would be nice to see where your club lands on this poll. For the guys that still get rounds at 3.00 a round there must be some other income that you club gets because that for us would be unsustainable. Please choose one that is member price.

We charge a flat 3 bucks for trap/skeet and half that for juniors for all practice rounds. My club also has a large rifle range and a pistol range. Our membership ends up close to 700 members each year at $25 for dues. We are quite solvent with a lot of clays shooting plus being in four leagues per year plus sale of refreshments.

We charge 4.50 a round. We have a different colored bird if you break it you get a free round. The bird could be any color. Black ones are really fun. I also let kids shoot free if they are willing to help us out. I also spend time with them helping with there shooting.

Storeman...I agree. I believe it is all relevant to understand the reason clubs charge what they do. ie, amount of members, services offered, membership charged. I think large memberships with moderate yearly fees can hold costs down on price per round. It is not that they are getting it cheaper they are just weighting profits from another category. Our club for example is 120 members with 30.00 a year for membership. We do not get any other revenue besides from trap and skeet. We could not afford to sell rounds at 3.00. We are at 4.00.

Hi Mark, Thanks for your reply. I check the poll daily and like to see the feed backs. My Club charges 8.00 per round for non members and 6.00 for members plus a a clay busting 150.00 per year for membership. This is in the Mid West (Kansas City) area. You would think that it would be fair to midland pricing. and I am told by the Board of Directors that it is a non Profit origination. Keep up the good work on the Polls. Storeman :)

About 220. All shooters have to take a computerized safety quiz before they can shoot (first time only) which then goes into a database. As of 2014, over 10,000 people have taken the quiz and shot here. So you can see our major income producer is non-members. 5 skeet fields, 3 trap fields and a 5-stand setup with 9 machines. The day after Thanksgiving, there was a 3 hour wait for any field! About 20 members have been trained as NRA RSOs and volunteer their time to supplement the paid staff.

$30 annual membership. $3/ round. 5 PAT traps, 10 concrete benches and 200 yard rifle range. Separate 50 yard pistol range. Separate archery range. Clubhouse, kitchen, restrooms, etc... . 130 acres of hunting ground.

I believe many who are members fail to see what they actually have in comparison to other areas.
