We have seen emails posted on the site between leaders of the ATA that the ISTA was stealing the U. S. Open? Was the ISTA just doing their duty as leaders of the trapshooting community?

The idea that the ATA runs anything is ridiculous, they hire people to run and operate the shoots as well as operate the Association ... Its totally obvious that no one on the EC, the ED, or most of the BOD even have a clue about running, hosting, or the operations of a shoot let a lone a big shoot (which the grand may be again someday) ... The clubs have people who have running shoots down to a science, more times than not if any of the ATA brass hats are at a shoot they only get in the way ... The ISTA and the club involved can run and operate the shoot just fine if the ATA stays out of their way and lets them do their thing ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    U. S. Open is dead like its sibling in sparta. No one cares about it either.
