My Genuine Stetson Cowboy Hat

My Stetson Cowboy hat, style 703 has a replacement value of just under $1,000, I bought it in August 1972 with $4500 I won at Camp Troy Gun Club during the Grand on Friday night. I called Stetso Mfg Co and scheduled a time to have my hat Re-Blocked, and their comment was do you have any idea what that Hat is worth Today? I said no and they told me almost $1,000.00 at todays prices. It is in extremely good condition and I am having it re-blocked. It still has the original tags sewn in the hatband, and headband is Branded w/Stetson Logo

I take it , its made of Beaver 100 X ..? The best one I have I had made at Cross Roads gun show is a 50 X Beaver, worth about $750.00 at the prices today ... Really nice hats and will last forever ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

I have a 40X that is like new. Think I'll list it on e-bay. Roger C
