Sir, I am unable to edit the post and I cannot find instructions on how to edit after 10 minutes.
Also not clear to me what a bump is (some type if change to the posted ad), which I assume is done by adding information in a supplemental reply...

 

You can't change a post after 10 minutes
You assume correctly. A "bump" is when the seller waits 3 days, then adds to the thread by simply typing a new post with the word "Bump" or maybe TTT (to the top) or, anything to get his listing to the top of the page.

You can "bump" an add in less than 3 days if you want to lower the price for example, or if someone requests different or more pictures, or you are answering a question.
