Powder supplies update.

How are the powder supplies? Especially Green Dot, Red Dot, and Clays.

 

Plenty of powder PA/OH line.

 

Just got 1 keg of Clay Dot, and Green Dot for $109.99 ea. a keg a savings of $30.00 ea. at Fin Feather Fur in Canton. Price is good till Nov. 29

 

I just emptied the last of my 700X jug into my reloader. Enough for maybe another flat or so & then start looking for another good deal. I'm good for awhile (about eight flats loaded) but will need more before spring.

 

Saw an 8lb jug of Red Dot locally for $250.00

 

What location is that? Northeast OH is around $110.

 

Its in Canton, OH and still on sale till Dec.6, they added Red Dot to the sale.

 

That price is way out of line, save your money.

 

Fin Feather Fur outfitters @ $109.99 for Unique, Red Dot, Green Dot and another powder. Still good offer due to receiving new circular paper, for you old timers.
Not a complaint nor concern but apparently they have enough powder in Stock to run a sale in a corporate store (local to northeast ohio). Must say that powder supplies are on a rebound compared to last year this time. Cheapest price I've found for red dot has been $112.00 at LGS.

Fin Fur Feather, Sportsmans Den, Dawson's and Denny's (all in OH) have always had those powders thru the shortage. How does having them now show supplies are on a rebound? What state were you experiencing the shortage?

Lady T ....if you get to the CC you can go to the Sportsman's Den vendor building and load up on some powder. Then drive to Fin Feather Fur a little north of the CC and load up on more powder. If that is not enough you can drive a little west and load up on some more powder at Sportsmans Den store NW of the CC. Repeat.

A lot of shooters hit all 3 places in a day. If you need even more powder you can drive and 1 1/2 hours east to Dawsons. From there go 1 1/2 hours to Dennys Sporting Goods. Then east to PA.

The powder manufacturers seem to know where the trapshooters are.

 

You PA and OH shooters know the more you consume the less that is available for states like Illinois.

 

At Tucson there was Clay Dot available for $160 for an eight pound jug. No Red Dot.

 

The more we consume the more we get to shoot.

 

But shooting is dying-dead according to many!

The Silver Dollar had all the Red, Green and Clay Dot with a smattering of Promo needed. That was last week!

 

I agree, since i moved western Ohio I have to maintain a book on all the shoots that i can go to less then 1/2 hour to 2 hours (CC). Looking into a reloader also. Might just take a 25 min ride to WPAFB today and smoke um.

The only thing I did not recive was my Gun Powder. e3 is what I ordered.
I wanted to try it, looking for a cleaner powder. No powder is not plentiful in Iowa but rifle powders are showing up. Yes we can get 700X but I don't like it very inconsistent drops.
