Events For 2016 Newport Sportsman's Club

I like the idea of a September shoot, good weather not much going on good call guys

 

You will have to say thanks to Big Papa, he is the one that puts the shoots together. My job is to try and give everyone the best targets that I can and some of you may know the weather makes it hard on me at time.

Also I would like to let everyone know that the Newport Sportsman's Club also offers a great Hunter's Safety Class's............ dates for the class's are on the card.

 

The targets are fine Rick...Who wants Gravy Train targets anyway on 50 or 10 bird non registered meat shoots. Now add a dash of wind and you got a good recipe for fun.

 

Notice the May 21 & May 22 will be the Northwest Zone shoot. We will be sharing this shoot with Williams County the same as last year. There will be a MAJOR change this year in the zone shoot program. EACH club will be determining the options being offered at the shoot at their club. The state association will set the program, target fees, trophies etc. The hosting club will be setting the options being offered.

Also, the shoot on June 12 will be our CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SHOOT. This will be one of your last chances to qualify for this event at the Ohio State Shoot.

Notice we also have added an extra shoot in SEPTEMBER. We have had various shooters asking us to add a fall shoot. Sure hope everyone comes out and supports this extra effort.
