A Skeeter from the UK seems to be upset there isn't an instant replay. Reports are she may have chipped a target to tie her for the top spot.

I watched the whole event. There was definately a "chip" from that target!! I felt bad for her as she was shooting well. BUT.....pleased to see USA girl in the final mix and win.

Is this the first organized Target Claiming? Team Great Britain protested.

I am surprised the woke Olympics in France do not give her or he a do over. They declare they are chicks with Dicks. You would think declaring a dead target would slide under the radar.

my point is, everyone should have seen 3.
    target, wad, chip.
that may be why the ref called it a miss.

Wasn't BRAD often reminding us about a target claimer?

Slow-motion replay by a television camera clearly showed a hit/chip.

I think the rule is "visible piece". I don't think that means with a closeup using a slow motion camera with a polarized lens. If the scorer didn't see it, you didn't kill it. jmho

Was this really a woman or a recently de nutted, was she,he,it an old Kentucky trap shooter claiming to be from the UK, how can anyone be sure? Please merlo forget sparta, this is needed to be got to the bottom of. Could the real reason for the ATA's membership decline be that these old ATA target claimers have changed and went to skeet? Have they embraced their inner self and came out of the closet?

The shooter claimed she didn't miss, the coaches said they saw a piece. ....It's possible her opponent and her coaches also saw the piece.
....The camera just confirmed that it was indeed a hit, but it was not relevant because video replays were not part of that event.

They should have video challenges everything else does.

    Italian girl won.
Rutter is female; she had a child shortly before Paris. And, no, men cannot give birth.
