Back up plan for Sparta - just in case….

Is there a back up plan if the WSRC fails? Recently it was published that the State of Illinois is looking for a new owner.

Later a new lease was agreed upon at the WSRC.

Months later, as per OSTA minutes, the Ohio Delegate asked the Cardinal Center to put in a bid.

If the WSRC fails, then what?

 

It'll be in Sparta long after we're gone. IL is the only state dumb enough to keep a loss leader. Look around and it's hard to find a shooter under 70 yo. The kids are shoring up the numbers and without them it wouldn't be much of a trapshoot anywhere. The party is over.

 

Was there a response from the Cardinal Canter on the Ohio Delegate's request?

 

California or New York are my choices... I'd be more worried about Cardinal Closing before the Grand moves... IFYKYK...

 

I don"t think we will be shooting at Cardinal in ten years. Look at the development around the venue. The current management does not have Jack's vision. Also, we do not know how the rest of Jack's Co.s are doing.

 

With Columbus currently one of the fastest growing cities in America, the demand for land along the major corridors that feed it is intensifying. I would not be surprised if a large corporation puts in a offer for the site that would be difficult to ignore.
