For Sale Winchester Model 70…SOLD

From the back of the safe comes this Winchester model 70 270 cal manufacturing in 1947 is set up with Lyman # 57 WJS rear peep sight and a front globe site. Gun was hunted about 25 years ago and then put back in the safe. Metal is in 90% plus condition with wood almost as good with hunting rash on the back of the stock. Asking $1,100.00 with the Lyman sites & $900.00 with out the sites plus shipping and insurance. If you have any questions or need more pictures pleases PM me.

how are the lands and grooves? any throat erosion? are the scope holes factory drilled?

 

That's a nice pre 64 model 70 at a fair price

 

Barrel is in great shape no throat damage to my knowledge the scope mount holes are factory.

That I don't know was on the rifle when I purchased it.
