The New Mexico Gov. says nothing in our U S constitution is absolute. She wants to suspend open carry and concealed carry in New Mexico completely disregarding our 2nd amendment.

Some on the OSTA board say that forever is not absolute in regards to our HOF and they have decided to go against everything that a HOF is intended to be. A HOF is intended to record the accomplishments of individuals who have attained a high list of accomplishments and after they are inducted they become a important part of the sport's history and regardless of any happenings after induction their status must not be tampered with. That is why the words forever enshrined are the center piece of a HOF certificate and no one has the right to alter this.

Where these cancel culture do gooders come from is a sad situation and it looks like the New Mexico Gov. and some on our OSTA board members may have all popped out of the same bubble. In our coming year please make truth and openness and righting our HOF a priority and no more confidential agendas.

Well said David. Get them out of office with a recall petition, then reverse all of their errant decisions. Then ban them from ever running for any office again.
This woke movement is ruining the fabric of our country, it is time to stop them. Roger C.

    Mr Billet….

We need to start at the nomination committee level! If they can’t recruit people to represent the Ohio shooters and protect our bylaws they need to go. All that has been done to make Ohio and the CC great is nearly in ruin. - Lima

I’m assuming that they don’t understand what the term Shall Not Be Infringed means

If someone would have told me Ohio had a few folks on the HOF Selection Committee that are trying to remove historic shooters from their HOF, I would have bet the farm.

If you told me Ohio wasn’t following their own bylaws I would have called bullshit on that too.

OH, your delegate is as bad as ours. But your President gets the crown for dumb ass leadership.

WELL SAID BOB, We are the only people in the world that elects the dumbest in the ranks to be our leaders. We need honest leadership if we are to survive in the unethical society that has taken root in our country. vote all undesirables out of every office that has control over the population.
Starting with the cabal in our federal government. Roger C.

Proper procedure, rules truth, and supposedly to be a group of sportsman for sportsmen seems only to get in the way of some folks. It is so sad that these are the times we seem to be living in.

I applaud Dave for his relentless criticisms regarding the HOF, the bumping of older threads to keep the subject in the forefront keeps the matter current. The HOF dominates the threads in this section of the forum. Maybe it is time to give the HOF topic its own category on the site like reloading, for sale, and the like.

shortbarrel Isn't our HOF and the actions of the OSTA board trapshooting related?

The HOF has it oun committee and makes the decisions as who gets in the HOF each year and also who to remove. The committee is 1 individual from each zone (not zone director) and past and current OSTA Presitent. The HOF committee makes it decisions and these outcomes are not voted on by the BOD......which is made up of the 2 Zone Directors from each zone which there are 4 Zones in the state of Ohio.

Sure it is. So is reloading bench, History Buffs, Financial Info Amateur Trapshooting Association, Your Pictures Trapshooting, all are related to trapshooting. So I suppose it comes down to some interpretation as to what degree it pertains to trapshooting. I can see why you would want the HOF subject placed in this section, it will get far more views. But we are close to having this section turn into a HOF section with the majority of threads pertaining to the HOF being dominant.

Hence my suggestion that we just cut to the chase and make a separate forum for the subject.

No where in the by laws does it say the Committee can remove anyone. If there was a by law change, the votes would have been in the minutes.

    These guys need to resign.

The minuets from the HOF committee meetings are never made public or posted on the website.
