Is cindy Devault still checkering stocks

Is Cindy Devault still checkering Gun Stocks, she has beeen doing Fantastic jobs I was wonderring if she still does stock work

I certainly agree with you that she did excellent work! Cindy recut the checkering on one of my stocks just before Dennis passed. It’s perfect! I believe a fellow that helped Dennis make the stocks continued on for awhile. Can’t recall his name but I’m thinking it might have been Tracy? Sadly, I haven’t heard anything about their shop for some time.

 

Cindy, was one of the kindest people I've ever met. Really sad how everything ended at DeVault Industries.
I can only hope she's doing well.

 

The wood guy who worked for Dennis was Tracy Latham, don't know if he is stil building stocks

A million $ life insurance policy would have kept the shop going, Its a shame he was the best gunfighter in his day.

It’s a shame somebody didn’t take up the Infinity. Fantastic design.

 

I know I have #229 can't shoot it any more, due to age and ailments-shooting a NCP 391 conversion

 

I shot a Mach that Dennis made for me several years. Great gun.

 

But...is Cindy still checkering stocks??

 

I would not think so, a person who had her checker a stock, was so dissatisfied with her work, he used it for fire wood--she had a lot on her mind after Dennis' passing a the close of DeVault Industries

 

I think she's done as well

 

I had contact with both Cindy and Tracy about a year and a half ago.

I asked Tracy about doing a stock and he said he was not currently doing any stock work.

Cindy was taking checkering work at that time, I did not follow through with having the stock checkered though as I wasn’t happy with it, I contacted her through an email address I found online to ask about it.
