This appears to be an MX8 style barrel. MX3 has no mid rib.

 

No! The monoblock looks round and no bifurcations. It only fits MX3 or MX5 MX6 MX7 receivers. Will not fit MX8/MX2000 or Mirage or MX3 Special.

This a round monoblock barrel... it is not an MX-3 barrel. It may be an MX-5-6 or 7. Regardless, it is an excellent doubles barrel and a very good buy!

It might be an MX3 barrel! MX3 is a round monoblock! MX3 Special is square monoblock

 

As I recall the MX3 Special and the MX8 barrels had some similarities.

 

Yes MX3 special is same monoblock as MX8

MX3 is non scalloped (flat receiver) the special makes it compatible with MX8 barrels


In Europe is called the MX4

 

MX-3 o/u barrel has no mid rib.

 

I have owned a MX-3 special...it also has a flat receiver.

 

The MX3 O/U barrels that I have seen were all top first with the top barrel with the most open choke. and open mid rib.
But with Perazzi you could order anything.
