my back up electrician stood me up.
im down to 1. we shall see 8am tomorrow.
even if he doesnt fix it, the trap works.

 

Bob - glad to hear some of the repairs are successful - hopes and prayers for the remainder. You know that I will come and shoot with whatever games will work.

 

ok, as of today, we have field 2 in operation.
the trap is working.
field 1 will work after i replace the blown motors in both machines.
but, im in no hurry for that at the moment. the electrician needs to do a test and check to see exactly is burnt.
as long as we can play skeet on 2, im ok.
i have the breaker box removed from the pole and on a temporary stake to give us power to the fields.
i cant remove the downed pole until i rig the tractor to drag it off.

so, duck boat is out.
and until i can afford a pole light, night birds are out forever.

maybe next april. but in light of having no business to justify it, i may never do it at all. i may just let the whole range just rot back into the ground the way i found it when i bought it.

yep. its on.

 

range is ready to receive my 4 friends.
everyone else had higher priorities.
dont blame them.
the world has changed.
guns and sports related to them are being made extinct or....only enjoyed by the wealthy.
fun and games takes back seat to paying bills and putting food on the table.
