Big Joker pot was won

The club I go to has a progressive Joker Jackpot, I explained it on earlier threads, was won by a shooter's wife, very nice win, the Pot on the new Joker Pot is already at $1255 in 3 weeks. This one pays a little better, If you get a One Eyed Jack you get $100, If you draw a Deuce you get $20, If your name is drawn you get $20. You get 3 winning options plus the Joker pot, until the Jacks and Deuces are drawn.

This raised the participitation quite a lot.

The big thing about the Joker Pot is the large crowd of shooters it Draws.

It is nothing to get 75 shooters on Thursday night, We shoot a lot of 3 man buddies, and once in a while 4 man buddies to handle the crowd.

Plus a Longbird shoot approx. an 80 yard target, depends on the angle you get, the left angle is the one that gets broken the most, Why is that? Shot String. You shoot your shell, no buffered loads, only 2 3/4" inch shells allowed, only safe loads allowed.

You are standing on an old porch, and 25+ yards to the left of station #1. Target speed is not changed
for this shoot. they are 3 hole+ targets too, women shooters are breaking them too, as well as High School students, we have a lot of young high school shooters

The club bought a new Pat Trap several years ago, and I have noticed this, it has the factory Interuptor, the Angle limit switches are widened from the 3 hole target bar.

It tends to throw more left angle targets, I was wondering why this is happening, I thought it would be about 50-50.
No it is more like 70-30, 70% and more left angles, than Rights.

I also find the same thing at a 2nd club 10 miles away on their Pat Trap

Not too bad for a weekday evening when people have to go to work the next day.

They should have tried that pot at the WSRC. Maybe it would have helped get more shooters to go there.

It could be because of where the club has the pegs that control the interuptor. They can be moved to change the sequence. Roger C.
