Best time to sell a 3000 to 4000 dollar combo? Advertised on the board of a couple local clubs and not a nibble. Good clean low round count gun. This price range hard to move.

Have several high school scholastic teams in the area, would make a fine gun for them. NO interest shown. Bought a zoli combo. P. S. the fabarm is a combo also

in my experience, it was 2012.
the bottom fell out for mid-range and cheap guns about then for me.
today, the wealthy are still playing amongst themselves, shuffling expensive guns back and forth, looking for the perfect set of clubs....not really caring about becoming a better marksman.

In a very weak moment I purchased a Browning 725 high rib Grade V trap gun brand new. I NEVER buy a new gun !

Regardless, I decided it was not a gun I wanted to keep. I've advertised it on Trapshooters, AmericanTrapshooter, and Shotgunforum as well as giving it to Mike Gooch to show it around the shoots in Florida and other places. Never even got a sniff !

I kinda rationalize nobody wants to pay a higher price for a Grade 5 when the bare bones model will accomplish the same task of breaking targets just as well.

I think my next move is to put it on Gunbroker or Gunsinternational. I figure I'll be lucky to get 75% of what I paid for it. The gun is 99% and has less that 500 shells thru it ! . When is the best time to sell ? When you find someone with lots of money and no willpower !

im seeing guns on the market that you never see. seems people are unloading and cashing out for cash in prep for a financial crisis....or, they are aging out and trying to get back some money for sitting on guns for decades. (me)
in the day it was a good means to make something, but now....no one is nibbling except those that can play. funny to watch how 10,000.00 guns fly off the ads...while little guy guns barely get attention unless its for a steal. market shuffling is taking place. the rich are buying, the poor are panicing, and when i t all settles, the rare guns will be back in someone elses closet for another 20-30 years.
