nice gun--length of pull? possible year of manufacture? top lever picture? or description of position of top lever when assembled-- you have a nice case for it but probably don't have the original box, right? thanks so much--just started doing research on possibly buying a bt-99 for single shot trap etc
2005 MV171. 14 1/2 Lop. I do not have the original box. I will have to get a picture of the top lever
so its a BT-99--not a PLUS, OR MAX, right? and rib not adjustable and have you ever patterned it, or could you comment on the POI(POINT OF IMPACT)? THANKS AGAIN
SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS--any idea of round count--did you buy it new-- im in st louis so i cant shoulder the gun before i buy it, which is scary
MV is the year -2005. 171 is second generation. It has an adjustable stock.no adjustable rib .It shoots around 60/40 for me. My son put a couple hundred rounds through it. I bought it used in 2007 and it's been in the safe . The action is very tight ,don't think it has a lot of rounds.
okay thanks again i can spend a few hundred dollars more and get the new bt-99 with adjustable comb--and--adjustable butt plate--so that is my dilemma--and like i alluded to before i can shoulder it in person at a store-- ALL OF THIS not your fault--just the art of shotgun buying--AND i like a flat shooting trap gun to boot--which is weird and i know it so one more question--when you shot it--were the beads stacked or was there a gap between them? if they were stacked--then 60/40 may be the lowest it would ever shoot?? anyway--thanks again
