If you are like me me you are sick and tired of both the Dems and Pubs. The best ability they have is to spend our money and we have very little to say about it. Individual freedoms are eroded on a continuous basis, They are more interested in preserving their jobs than doing the their jobs that they were elected to do. The ballot box is the only way to change it and that right is attacked daily. There is a political party out there that would go a long way to help solve this problem. While I don't agree with all of their policies I agree with their basic principle of individual freedom and limited size of the Gov't. It is the Libertarian Party. Google it and read what they are about. Let me know what you you think. Ernie
It would take a major movement and tons of money to remove the Donkey or Elephant from a position of power. There is money in power. Every one in the House and Senate become multi millionaires virtually over night. Kick backs, buy offs, insider trading is all apparently allowed (for them, not you). Their salary is rather low but the benefits beat anything else out there.
The country has been through a lot in 6 years, the world at large has too. the repubs are divided more now than ever and they need to get their party together towards the aim of service the country..... and our justice system needs to do better.....waaay more better!
There is a bit of the Libertarian platform that aligns with traditional Constitutional ideas, and I certainly agree with those parts. The rest of it isn't so good. They start to sound a little too close to socialism at some point. Sounds like Ernroe has awakened to the fact that we have a UNIPARTY (dems and repubs), that for the most part is corrupt to the core. Regardless we must return earnestly to true Constitutional rules if we want any true improvement.
Like I said I don't agree with all of their ( Libertarian Party) positions but the current two parties are so intertwined that it will be difficult, if not impossible, to separate one from the other. Term limits might be of some use but I don't see that happening. The quote below pretty much sums up my view. The libertarian perspective is that peace, prosperity, and social harmony are fostered by “as much liberty as possible” and “as little government as necessary.”
We have lost the moment we begin to doubt ourselves. i still believe in the republican party, Too many fakes there now but there a lot of people doing undeniable great job with intent to change thing for the betterment of the common folk.
Well, I’m a constitutionalist and where I stand is very clear and it’s with who uphold our constitution and way of life. Not those trying to replace it with a woke way or life.
Well it has been 5 months since I made the initial post on this subject. Now here in Oct the pile of crap is heating up and I am already tired of it not to mentioned the smell of it. Trump is the only one that stands out as different and it is unlikely that he can stay out of jail. But, if he can beat the full power of the Democratic and some elements of the Republican machines as well as the MSM he will be a force to be reckoned with.
That's right Enroe. And that smell, is the fear of those mentioned who stand against the movement called MAGA.
Quotes by President Reagan: Government Is the Problem Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives. (Speaking at the National Conference of the Building and Construction Trades, AFL-CIO on March 30, 1981) Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them. Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. (First Inaugural Address on January 20, 1981) Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other. (Reagan during his gubernatorial campaign in 1965)
Very good and as always with Reagan he knew how to get to the heart of the matter in a way that most people could understand.
