GUN CLUB MGR NEEDED

Middletown Sportsmen's club is looking for a full time Gun club mgr. We have 16 trap fields, 2 skeet fields, sporting clays, five stand and a rifle range. We have a fishing lake and a campground. Tim, I hope the new man doesn't get rid of that mentally challenged boy that mows all the grass down there. He can be a little surly, but he's a hard worker.

 

Per the January 2020 Middletown Sportsmen's Club minutes, the prior manager, Mike Erter, was paid $750/week. I suppose there might be some adjustment for inflation and the whole "compensation pkg based upon experience and skills," but that should give folks a ball park figure for starting negotiations.

I hate when folks say they want to hire someone then get all coy about what they're willing to pay.

 

If I am not mistaken, did this not also include housing for the manager at the club?

 

I'd bet that anyone who is actually interested in the job could contact MSC and find out pretty quickly what the compensation package consists of.

 

As Tim said total compensation pkg will be based upon skills and experience. The job comes with a house and utilities paid. The mgr also has a company truck to use. He will paid a lucrative salary. If you re read the January minutes, Mike Erters salary is not discussed. Different Mike. I can say with the house and truck it will be a 75-80K pkg or more depending upon skills and experience.

Whoops, I misread that...it was a different Mike. Sounds like a better deal than I initially thought.
