Shooting Trap/Skeet alone?

I've never really shot much skeet, but I am wanting to shoot more. I finally got out there yesterday and had a lot of fun. sure, I need work but hey, what can you do.

My problem is, my buddy isn't always able to go. Is there anyway I can go by myself? I found a neat little device that is voice activated that you hang on your belt, when you say "pull' it electronically pulls the launcher. but, its 100.00. for that money, I would just pay for my friend to go.

any other ideas?

 

Bring a wife/girlfriend to pull for you. My girlfriend comes with me all the time and actually started shooting a bit, it’s always a good time.

Other than that, does your club have days/evenings where other people show up for a practice night or league night? Go then, shoot with some new people.
