Looking at kolar, and seeing they have the .750 bore on some of there guns. Reading and hearing about the bloopers in cold, or in general weather. So, from all who have or have had, are .750 bored really that bad? Are they anything to worry about?

Diesel, I have a.750 Kolar combo. I’ve shot it in temperatures as low as -10 F (no wind at that low temperature). No bloopers, the only issue is that the CMD grease Kolar recommends is too viscous at that temperature. STOS or SuperLube work good but of course that has nothing to do with the bore size which is no problem.

My friend and I both shoot a .750 bore kolar TS. I live in Ohio and we have plenty of cold days. They shoot and pattern just like any other gun. Briley has any choke that you want for that bore. The gentleman at Elite in PA. told me you'll never know the difference between a a .750 and a .740. I've patterned it extensively with different loads , nice patterns. Hope it helps.

I own two .750 and two .740 Kolars,I have 12 years of trigger time with them and have never had any issues of blooper or off sounding ammo but I only use top end ammo.
    Best regards Harold.

Thanks Harold, if I did go that route, I'd be using my reloads, to which I have never had any issues with.
