winchester wsf

has anybody tried loading winchester super field powder for trap? i have a 8lb keg and would like to load some 1 1/8" 1200fps trap loads.

 

WSF loads great for trap, but most loads are for field loads. PM if want to know what I use. Loyd

 

Txt or call Hodgdon and get a update reloading manual they will send you one I didn't see a load at that speed for 11/8

Heck i have a pound of the powder, the first one looks interesting, with the low pressure

 

makes a great Annie load -- little goes a long way

 

Good 20 ga powder also

 

Recently I gave the Winchester Super Field Powder a try for a 1300 fps load. I really like the results, but boy do they make a bang. I seem to be awaking my fellow shooters.

 

i am loading 22.0 grains in a winchester hull, 1 1/8, and my shells do not seem lowd to me. checked three loads and they were 1191, 1193 and 1197fps.

 

WSF is a great powder for what you want, since you have a keg.
