    it also included remington umc cart co.
    all the ammo side of the factory moved to and is still operating in lonoke ar to this day. a range is on the grounds too, as many know.

    soon this iconic bldg will be gone too. attempts to save it failed. its where your lead shot was made here in the usa. the famous remington shot tower. google to learn its history.

    Can you imagine how cool it would be to have an office loft or for that matter turn it into condos in the shot tower building. What a view. Sad this is what it’s become.

    Thank you for the pictures. Here in Lincoln, many of the old buildings in the downtown area and the old rail yard are being converted to retail and condos on the upper floors. I’m happy to see them being saved and repurposed.

    Not really a winner. I knew it had to be either Winchester or Remington plant and after you said my New Haven guess was wrong it had to be Remington.

    Should have known the NY plant wasn't in that bad of shape and stuck with Bridgeport. The picture I posted came up under "Old Remington plant in llion, NY". So much for "google"

    I went back and forth like changing choke tubes trying to find the right one. LOL

    This is the old Peters Cartridge factory in Kings Mills, Ohio. They transformed it into high-end apartments, business suites and a micro brewery with plans to further expand it in the future.
