For Sale KX5 Special NICE!!

Excellent condition KX5 Special for sale. The nicest wood I have ever seen on one of these!
34” barrel with HiViz pro comp sight added. Comes with four Krieghoff steel choke tubes (1,2,3,4) and Aluminum case. Lop as shown is 14.5. The stock appears to have been cut between 1/2 to 3/4” from original. I would rate the bluing at 98% and the wood could be 100% except for two very small clearcoat chips, an easy cosmetic fix. Nice, strong target crusher. Asking $3900 plus shipping. Located in Southwest Florida.

 

How is this a KX5 special

 

It is a KX5. I do not believe there is such an animal as a KX5 ‘Special’. I wasn’t able to edit the ad before the time limit ran out. I also have a KX6 Special for sale, probably what I was thinking about when I posted it.

Please explain differences between Krieghoff singles :KS 5. KS 5 special. and KX 5

 

Kx5 is current production and took the place of ks5.

Kx5 has the adjustable rib, and cocks the firing pin by opening the gun like most normal guns. Push pin forend removal.
Ks5 no wheel rib adjustment, only by hangers and the top lever cocks the firing pin.
Ks5 special has the wheel rib adjustment. And possibly other upgrades.

 

Hate to dispute you , but :

1. KX6 Special is current production

2. KX5 top lever cocks the firing pin

I also have to say Skullrider ..... that is one good looking gun. I miss my KX5 more than any other gun I've owned and sold. If I had it to do again, I'd never have let it go..
