Perazzi gun smiths?

I'm looking to possibly remove more weight from my already light TM1. Thinking about removing the ramp that used to be connected to the factory rib at breech end. It now serves no purpose.
My question is, would it be safe to shoot and if so how is it fastened? Is it soft soldered or silver soldered?

for the amount of work and the cosmetic damage to the gun for the very little wt. it would remove, i would forget it.
