Gee that sucks. He should be able to speak his mind. I think all here appreciate the free speech. I didn’t know he had sponsors. I just figured he was a silly kid.
When you do not know what you are talking about you run out of replies. Maybe that's were JR. went. Roger C.
You know, he did post that he wasn’t a Jr. Probably not much older but it goes to show that sometimes wisdom doesn’t always come with age. Hope he likes that hat he was so proud of. LOL
I just realized there’s no point in replying to people who are set in their ways. You guys have fun on this mess of a website and all the rumors you all believe. I think it’s funny you all believe the things you do and I enjoy reading of all the nonsense you can come up with.I also enjoy reading about some of the factual things as well. I have other things to do than busy myself on a website full of stubborn men. But go ahead and talk about the good ole days or how the ATA gets paid per case sold at the Grand. Maybe if you open your eyes and see the CC could be better maintained like I was trying to communicate. When you have a club that doesn’t throw targets people like, or a road full of potholes the shooters won’t show up. I bid you all a good day, Have fun on your throne of wisdom -Subjr
SJ believes it's more important to fill a few potholes than spend money providing shooters with the finest multi-faceted shooting facility I've ever attended. Good for him. FYI, even with my terrible back my young son drove me around the facility in a golf cart multiple times and I returned in one piece. Actually, they weren't that bad. Life has many far more difficulties than a few bumps. Anyway, all my buddies that attended had a great time and all said they can't wait to return.
I really enjoy how you can tell others my opinion. That’s really nice of you. I’m just saying that’s one of the many problems I’ve seen while shooting at the Cardinal Center. Yes it’s a nice facility. I’ve said that numerous times on this website. I just think there needs to be some money spent to maintain the place, especially since a lot of people on this site want the Grand to be there. I’m glad your back held up against the potholes, wouldn’t want you to get hurt. But I know a person who had a tire blowout due to hitting a pothole there recently. Enjoy -Subjr
Speed kills. "Many"-elaborate! Ever heard the term "growing pains"? Common sense would dictate it doesn't make any of it to spend money on roads used to transport the heavy equipment needed to build structures.
common sense would dictate that having a smooth road to drive hundreds of campers, Rv’s and Tou haulers would be great for those choosing to camp. Especially since some of them are upwards of $100,000 + some even being worth almost half a million $. I don’t understand why you have to argue on everything. Did I hurt you? If they enforce the speed limit than nobody would speed. And of my 3-4 years of going to the CC to shoot I haven’t really seen a lot of speeding on the road. Most of it would be behind the trap houses on the path. Maybe having a paved or even a chipped smooth road would make more people want to come. It’s like have a well painted business over one that’s peeling paint and not very approachable. Like i said it’s a nice place. If it were my place I’d have the road fixed for everyone else. It’s not my place I get it. But that’s what I would do. If you want to drive on a bumpy road go right ahead -Subjr
Ok, I let you have your childish rant about potholes and how you know what they should do and how your friends won’t go there yada, yada, yada 1) you can CHASE all the points you want and maybe get a hat. Big friggin deal. If you had to shoot the targets these guys did over the traps they did and with the pullers they had nobody would even know your name. Jesus, I hadn’t shot a target in over ten years and broke a 98 in singles after no targets for another 8 years a 99. News flash, I AIN’T THAT GOOD.! The targets are EASIER. You can CHASE those points and your buddies can tell you how good you are but you don’t know what a hard target is. 2) You couldn’t carry the shell bag of some of these “stubborn” men on this site. 3) You’re a rookie. When I was starting, like you are, I didn’t even think about saying ANYTHING about a club. The older guys would have told me to STF up. I know that, like the great days of the Grand in Vandalia, those days are also over. Younger people haven’t been taught that they should just STF up and maybe they would learn something. 4) You laugh at the “rumors” on this site? Like Pull2012? Or who owns the HOF building? Or how the office building was “found” by Gipson? See # 3 above 5) Maybe if these guys would open their eyes? You mean the people running the nicest facility most people will ever see? I say that because most of these people will never see that place in ILLnews because they DON’T WANT TO GO THERE. The pathetic numbers prove that. It’s not a rumor. THEY WON’T GO THERE They DO go to the CC so that ““the CC could do better” stuff is just what it sounds like, a dumb remark. 6) I’m tired of trying to help a young shooter that thinks he knows better than the guys that built the sport so this is the last one. If you have better things to do with your time WTF, read it twice, are you doing posting on this “mess of a site” In one if your “final” posts you said “ I bid you all a good day” and “have fun on your throne of wisdom To me that sounds like you are done posting here. I hope you are not but if you are, AMF. And tell whichever stooge told you to post that crap you did that this site is till here and we are coming up on our 6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY. One if those jerkoffs said it would be 30 days. LOL Remember, God gave you 2 holes to listen and only 1 to speak. Unless of course you think you can tell us “Old Timers” something we don’t already know. In that case, God gave you another hole you can talk out of. Flyersarebest BTW, you see that word Flyers in my handle? You know what that means? It means even with that hat you haven't shot shit compared to that shotgun game Good luck CHASing that hat. LOL, a friggin hat.
It is always amazing how Trapshooting has evolved into a nanny-sport ..... 'Back in the day' when people shot for gold and glory, no one gave a damn about a "bumpy road" ..... They went to a shoot that offered the gold and glory, not just attend a over-priced 'gun and RV show' ..... Heck, I have been to Clubs that you needed a jacked-up 4X4 to get to, and never heard anyone bitch about the road while the cash was being paid out ..... What a shame, the 'point chasers' may never understand the adrenaline rush from winning something other than over-priced practice for 'points' .....
shooters should shoot. golfers should complain. either youre a range or a country club. if you want both, find one, go only there, park your rolls' next to someone elses rolls', and be around your fellow birds of a feather. rule of thumb. the more money members put into a facility as per bylaws...the more they demand that it reflect their investment. many come from clubs like that, and get accustom to order and cleanliness. when they don't see it, they compare and find fault. ya know, like a good mother checks out her daughters first rent. my club is rustic in comparison to many. yet, people see the effort i make and realize im limited, they come anyway, and have a great time. its nice to know shooters come to visit me, not my property. then again, I get a lot of one timers too. I could gold plate the birds and theyd still find something to justify not returning. and its not due to my wifes cooking, that's for sure. hope this helps.
Heck, one of my favorite clubs back in the old days only had an outhouse. Funny thing was the seat was a bit high and anyone with short legs (my ex-wife included) had a bit of difficulty getting up there to do their duty. Great memories!
I’m new on this interesting site but not new to this sport. I find all these points very interesting and some quite out there. But this (^) one is the first one on this site I’m going to respond to and I’ll break it down just like you did. It doesn’t matter who chases points and who doesn’t. That has nothing to do with anything right now. The majority of shooters are shooting for the trophies and their own personal goals and achievements. And the point is the shooters back then and the shooters now deal with different variables just as you said but no one is saying they are better than anyone here. As for you breaking your 98 and 99 in singles that is pretty good. Did you break 99s and 100s “back then” or did you break those scores because the targets are easier now? I’m just curious and was wondering if you shot from the 27? Also why take so much time away from this sport that you’re such an expert on? I mean 10 year spans and 8 year spans that’s kinda odd. Did you shoot them at CC Okay? Yes there are some really good shooters on this site and they are proven but once again no one is saying they aren’t good or that they are better? The simple fact here is younger shooters are listening and learning a lot. However, they are the voice of this sport and will carry it on in the future and this sport depends on them. I’m sure you were told to STF as a kid and your feelings were hurt from that, which is why you’re taking this opportunity now as on older individual to try and tell a younger person to STF up because that’s what you were told. Rumors and conspiracies they are all the same. So in your opinion the CC is the “nicest facility?” That’s great everyone has their opinion. But looking at the facility and it’s flaws (because there are quite a few, and every club has them) you can’t respect that those shooters that have been to other facilities across the country might have a different opinion? The fact that your buddies “don’t want to go there” that is their decision and who cares. The sport will always have a grand no matter where it is or who is there. Ohio didn’t make a 7 competition factor for the first time in several years. The grand’s attendance was lower than several years in the past. So let’s look at the common variables... shell issues? Covid still showing back up? Shoots are down all across the country. It’s not a “Sparta issue” it’s a nationwide issue. How are you helping younger shooters? And because of some constructive criticism on a website you’re done? Kinda harsh don’t you think? Do you help shooters or give them advice on this website or do you do it in person on a trapline or at a club? I hope you continue to help young shooters if that’s that case because they will grow this sport. Unless you tell them to STF of course I mean, younger people might not be able to take that like you did back in the day. I guess everyone has there moments where they speak out of both holes. Maybe you should check and see which one you are speaking out of? Just to make sure is all. My final question to you is where do you think the grand should be? Still in Vandalia? The ATA had to leave there, you act like they had a choice. Yeah everyone agrees Illinois SUCKS but it’s there for now. It will likely leave there sooner than later. Will it come to the Cardinal Center? Not without some major changes and things done differently. Cool name by the way! And I’ll leave you with a saying I was told by a shooter of “your time” as he was my mentor and loved helping younger shooters and encouraged them to speak their OPINIONS freely and didn’t tell them to STF; and that is “you are only as good as you are tomorrow, not today or not yesterday.” Have a nice day!
I went shooting last night to Continental's meat Lewis shoot. I hadn't shot a trap target for over a year. I've developed macular degeneration in both eyes over the last several years and I have a dead spot right in the center of my left eye. I can only explain what I see as having a pair of binoculars that have two different focus points, but that's not my point. Last night was the first I'd shot for over a year and I had only shot a shotgun about twenty times or so in that time, pheasant hunting. Also it was a night shoot and I hadn't shot a night target since Vandalia in the early 2000's in those night shoot offs they used to have. The point of this is that I missed 4 out of the first 7 targets on the singles then broke the rest and about the same on the caps, 21 or 22 but one of those misses was a slow pull that really threw me off and I know for a fact if I had been shooting thirty years ago with the same physical handicap over hand pulled and hand set 3 hole targets my score would have been much much worse probably closer to the 50 % range. Today's shooters can fool themselves all they want but very few could handle those slow and fast pulls. I think the voice pull has done as much to make trap shooting too easy as setting those puff ball targets. At 67 years old it felt good to break more than I missed but there is no way in hell I could break the same score in 1974 at 67 that I did in 2021. ATA trap shooters today are soft. Back in the day most of the All Americans shot trap in the summer and pigeons in the winter, how many of today's all Americans have even seen a live bird shoot? The thing that most of these young shooters don't know and more than likely never will is that respect is earned by achievements and not given to anyone. The hardest thing for some of today's youth to know is that they don't know about what they talk and unfortunately don't have the brains to listen to those who have been there and done that. Shooting for Points, trophies, hats, are things so foreign to me that I can't comprehend what the attractions are. Of course I've always known what bathroom to go to and what sex I am, even to this day when I'm filling out someones opinion of important info and they ask me sex I always answer "no thank you, but thanks for asking".
Well, well, well, it seems we have a new member posting for the first time. I got the PM from JR and someone that thinks like him decided to sign up. Good. I planned on keeping it really short but..... For the "Ohio Shooter". I never said I was an expert. That old swipe is just plain old. Yes I had a few 100 straights on the real targets "back then". Never had THAT many,. A couple a year maybe. I did have 4 in one year along with twelve 99's. Shot 4,900 singles that year. When Ray Dome classified me at the Grand in Vandalia he asked if I had a thing against 100's with that many 99's. We shot all year and sometimes the weather wasn't perfect. We DIDN'T CARE. BTW, that was the year Dysinger decided he would win the Singles Championship. Bugger beat me by 3 targets. The only reason I said anything about those scores and how long it was between shooting is to show that the TARGETS ARE EASIER. If they weren't I probably would have had a 92-93. Which sucks. The reason for the long absence? Because the ata screwed the members when it moved to that place after being told DON'T DO IT. One of my friends talked me into signing up and giving it a try knowing I loved it so much . Twice! That 99? missed the last one out. They were so easy I lollygagged the quarter left from station 2. Like I said, I wasn't that good and still almost ran them. Sad! No I didn't shoot them at a great facility like the CC. I shot them at one of the clubs here in SW PA that had a background that some of the hat chasers wouldn't even think about going to. Yeah, I shot from the 27. It took me 1400 targets to get back there. The 2 yards in the Prelim Grand week the first year there gave me 2 so I moved to the 26.5 and when one of the local clubs heard about the 3rd place trophy and the yardage they held a registered shoot so I could try and get the 1/2 punch. The President of the club used a 16 penny nail and a hammer and punched my card right into the old desk. At least he left the claw hammer there so I could pull it out. Doubles? Even though you didn't ask I know you want to. Never a great doubles shooter though it seemed I did pretty well at the bigger shoots. 98 in our PA western Zone, 98 in the Sat. last chance doubles at Vandalia and a 98 at the Tri-State all in the same year. All the rest were in the low ,mid 90's. We never really had a chance to practice them so the only time we shot them was at a registered shoot. Those 98's paid for the entire weekends or a few days at the Grand in Vandalia. Expert? FAR from it. There are HOF members on here that are EXPERTS. Did you read the post from Shamus? The guns didn't come out of the case unless there was money involved. I could buy a hat in Walmart. "Back then" people didn't ask what kind of hat or trophy you won, or what "team" you were on. They wanted to know " how much did it pay". Foreign to the shooters of today that are more concerned with points. And apparently the number of pot holes in the road. I don’t have 2,500 buddies that won’t go to that place in ILLnews. That’s how many they are short for the “premier” event in the sport. The attendance numbers have sucked since they moved that shoot. And you can’t blame the shell shortage or the crapdemic for that. It IS a sparta issue You can try and make an excuse for it but it's right there in the numbers. Try asking all those shooters that were supposed to make up for the difference. NO ONE ever answers that one. I said the CC was the nicest facility most of the shooters going there will ever see because they will NEVER go to that place in ILLnews. Great place from what I hear. Too bad it's where it is. Probably have those higher numbers if it wasn't in the middle of BFE. As far as helping "younger shooters". If they ask for help at my club? sure I'll help them. If they are complaining about the road and the parking? I'll tell them to Man UP or STF up. I had RESPECT for the older shooters when I went to shoot. I was never told to shut up because I knew better and didn't complain about anything. I was there to break targets and I didn't care what the place looked like. I shot with the same squad for about 3 years and we shot a lot of targets. NOT ONCE did we ever say ' Oh, they're too high or They're too wide" or We want them checked. If there was air under them we shot them. I can just imagine what would have happened if we said " Hey, nice place to shoot, the targets are near perfect and the shooting grounds are amazing but, the road has a few potholes in it". STF up and shoot, you're not standing in the road, would have been the appropriate answer. Hell, I shot pigeons in the middle of an uncut field, except for the ring, and that cost a LOT more than a lousy 100 registered targets and didn't even think about complaining. And I like the "Have a nice Day" comment. We both know you don't mean it or you wouldn't have posted what you did before that. I get it. LOL Have a nice Day
Oh, I almost forgot. "Ohio shooter", watch where you step here. The guy you are defending said it was a "mess of a site" and I wouldn't want you to step in anything. When something is around almost 6 YEARS one has to expect there to be a little mess. LOL I wish he had the balls to post this instead of a PM. Just part of it, "Nice remark. Glad you can really defend your side. I don’t think I’m that good in the sport. I still struggle in such “easy events”. But if they’re so easy why don’t you try and shoot some? You could win some trophies from your precious Cardinal Center" I didn't shoot for the trophies, hats, "bragging rites", or Just to be with my friends. I used to kid around with them before the event started and drank beer with them until the bar said, GO HOME, WE RAN OUT OF BEER after it was over but "back then"? It was "don't miss" or I'll bury you. And that is the way it should have been. The Golden Age
Correct me if I am wrong but some people just do not know when to STFU, yet this world keeps spinning around ... Bet jr and Ohioshooter are glad they stated their opinion even though there are so many to the opposite who disagree with them ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
Well, Jr. when ya become of age why don't ya join the Marines or Army. You'll learn about a rough road child. If ya make it.
Unfortunately cannot due to issues with my body after a car accident a few years back… And I’m not actually a SubJr. Some people know some don’t…
the days of hard targets and hand pulls are over. They won’t ever come back. Unless you want to volunteer to make a club that has these features in them… if you shot just so you could drink beer with your friends, why shoot. Save the money and enjoy the beer? Or was it also to be around your friends like I said I enjoy the sport for? Sounds like you think they’re different but they sound the same to me. U really hope you can see that other people can have different opinions than you. It doesn’t make you right all the time. Doesn’t make me right 100% but there are some things I’m correct on and some you are. The game of trap used to be harder. But like I said before those days are over. They won’t come back. So the people of old style shooting can reminisce about the good ole days and sit back or they can join in on the current fun. I really enjoy having conversations with older shooters to learn the old ways, but most of them still shoot. They still go to the Grand, they have fun no matter where the shoots are. Dont be so high strung on avoiding IL. The states politics may suck which has been discussed. But Southern IL is full of nice people and beautiful country. The Grand wasn’t changed any bit by the politics of Illinois this year. its also quite humerus to see all the grown men telling others to “STFU” when someone has a differing opinion they believe in. Even those of younger ages still have a voice in the shooting community and should be heard when they know or are informed of what other shooters would like to see at shoots. waiting for the reply…
subjr....don't feel bad. I did 5 terms in the military. consider 1 done for you. it was my pleasure to serve for you.
I thought you checked out of this "mess of a site". I thought you didn't feel like talking to a bunch of "stubborn old men" Ok, if you want to answer for the "ohio shooter" that's fine. Unless you want to volunteer to make a club that has these features in them… if you shot just so you could drink beer with your friends, why shoot. Save the money and enjoy the beer? Huh? We did both. And shot pretty well too. Even on the harder targets and kids in the chair pulling. LOL Save the money? Hell, we didn't care about saving money, we shot to try and make money. Enough that a score of 97 in the Prelim Caps paid for the entire week and a new TM1. Dont be so high strung on avoiding IL Are you talking to me, or the OTHER 2,500 that quit going to that shoot? The Grand wasn’t changed any bit by the politics of Illinois this year The "grand" as you call it changed the day they moved it to a place the members, read it twice, the members told the ata not to move to. I could have just posted this but you probably wouldn't get that either. So, keep CHASing the points and that hat. If that's the only reason YOU shoot why not save the money and just order one on line. There is a company that will put anything you want on it. All American Team 2021, On the back it could say Official Road Inspector Now I'm going on vacation tomorrow so I won't be able to answer your reply, that I know is coming even though you said good bye, until I'm in our room Monday night. Until then Jr.
Captain of the men’s all American team gets this amount of crap from some old farts .. what a joke … talk that back in the day shit WHICH WILL NEVER CHANGE
But you don’t think the site is a joke do you? Like the site to sell things don’t you? Good thing we don’t have a 50 post rule huh?
Somebody must not of got the special treatment that their accustom to at the CC. In racing, we called them "Lucky Sperm".
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..............But like I said before those days are over. They won’t come back. So the people of old style shooting can reminisce about the good ole days and sit back or they can join in on the current fun. I really enjoy having conversations with older shooters to learn the old ways, but most of them still shoot................<<<<<<<<<<<<< I STILL THROW 3 HOLE BIRDS OUT OF A WESTERN V1577 TURRET AT MY MEETS! COME ON BY! i'll even set it up for 5 hole shoot offs if you want! :>
coming to my range is sorta like a vintage car rally. ya know, cords and score chairs with no batteries failing? I ran out of life, but I did intend to put in a true bar and handle release system with a puller in the bunker, and shoot on a straight position 30yd line. I would have had sbs only and vintage sbt only squads. if I had blueprints....I was crazy enough to try putting in cable release skeet too. sometimes all this modern stuff takes some of the fun out of it all. I like old. maybe because I am. lol. im sorry if this all appears to be a hijack. it was only meant to calm and refocus a topic and put us all back on being sportsmen enjoying a sport. hope it allowed us all to take a step back and remember our roots. we are trap shooters. we are practicing social correctness as ladies and gentlemen. ugly should stay outside the club gates.
No I apologize for my previous post greatly.. I just thought Chase would get a bit more respect as he was the captain of the all American men's open team.. I love the cardinal center and I do believe it is the best facility in the north east... I sincerely apologize and this has nothing to do with 50 posts to sell anything.. I'm sorry I came off as rude and I know times are different between back in the day and now. So I do apologize and you can delete my previous post... Break em all.
What does being captain of the all American team got to do with it? You just got your ass handed to you. Roger C.
Wow as a newbie to this site, there is allot of backstory I apparently need to catch up on. Also just as a side note I would love the chance to have some of the guys on this site tell me to Shut up and listen while they tech me how to shoot better
We don't delete posts around here. The graphmaster used to wish we did but, alas, we don't. And you probably read on another post "respect" is earned. And NOT by how many targets someone can break. My reply really didn't have anything to do with this guy breaking targets or your opinion of the CC. You hit the trip wire when you wrote, "gets this amount of crap from some old farts .. what a joke … talk that back in the day shit WHICH WILL NEVER CHANGE" I don't know when you started shooting and it really doesn't matter, but those "Old Farts" helped build the ata and you should always remember that. Flyersarebest, The "nice" mod.
All you have to do is go back and read all the posts on this thread. Your "side note"? What problems are you having? Even money there are guys on here that have shot more targets than you will be able to in your lifetime. Just the way it is, not a swipe at you because of the number you can afford to shoot or how much you can travel. "Back then" they shot for something and a lot of them shot tens of thousands a year and over the course of those years they might have had the same problems you are having. I'm sure they will be more than glad to help if they can.
The more I practiced, the luckier I got ... I can remember buying Federal Papers for $2.50 a box ( 20 box cases ) so its been while ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
No no I didnt mean my post as a bad thing, I certainly believe that those types of folks are here. My comment meant I would love to have one of those types tell me to shut and and just teach me lol Im inconsistent to say the least 25-18-20-25 etc..
7-1/2’s or 8’s? That’s just the kind of post I would expect from someone that’s been around the block more than a few times. Nice... LOL
JJ-JJ Just hang around this site long enough and someone will tell you how. The easiest way to shoot better. IS DO NOT MISS SO MANY. Roger C..
JJ-JJ, If you buy a Video off of one of the Big Dogs, you can get many pointers ... Google trapshooting lessons and you will find an assortment of Videos you can buy to get you started ... Big Leo (Leo Harrison III) was the Biggest Winner of all time and he has short videos on there that may or may not assist you in your new adventure ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
nuts, I was inviting you out to mo to learn for free. fyi....jersey, what exit? north- central- south jersey? I use to shoot in central. njp ex88 Lakehurst area.
ok. got ya. I pass thru del-mem-bridge to ct and va all the time. I shoot at omelangdon in del on occasion off 13. I have an open invite to pine belt and pine valley, but covid ruined that.
If you ever do go to pine belt or pine valley please let me know I would be more than happy to meet you at either one.
I was a pine belt not to long ago and Im not a member sooooo yes? I cant speak to PV though , they did however raise their prices a ton
I think PB is still the same 7 bucks for non members 5 for members but if i recall correctly PV went well over 10 bucks a round (don't quote me on that though)
I don’t know what you meant when you said “good “ but if you meant it was a “good” thing that you and the other poster derailed this thread then NO it wasn’t. The PM option on our site is a great way to talk to someone. Thanks
why does everything on this website have to be a catfight? here I am trying to rescue a new guy who stumbled into a street brawl and I get lambasted. maybe your wars and hate for others should be done on pms and good clean trap discussions should be kept public. crazy as it may seem, but this website is seen by the WORLD. doesn't do much for the sport...if its possible for you all to see that. hope you now do. thanks as well.
Ummm i know im a new guy here so so my opinion may not be worth much but to be honest this thread was already wayyyyyyy off the rails before we joined. bobski was trying to help me and I honestly appreciate it and him doing so
To CH(alais subjr1). Back in the dark ages of trapshooting and the early years of the Cardinal Center about 2009 there was a very traumatic thing happened and it is amazing that the Cardinal Center managed to survive this monumental debacle. This was much more serious than a few potholes, a poison ivy vine was spotted in the woods near the camping area and even as devastating as this was some how the Cardinal Center managed to survive. No way could a little pothole be as serious as this was, but I will probably get chastised for mentioning this. I just wanted to mention this to let you know that before your devastating little pot hole there were serious issues that I'm sure you in your infinite knowledge, you had absolutely no idea of. As serious as this is I still have to close with a LOL. A trapshooting fossil Dave Berlet
Bob, I remember it seemed like all of the wads from the west end targeted the pavillion area where we were trying to take shelter behind one of the tables. Even that traumatic event couldn't have compared with that little pothole. Dave Berlet
All y'all need to stay on track. This thread is SUPPOSED to be about whether or not the treatment of member Subjr1 was ruff enough to have caused said member to depart or not. And since he has posted 5 times on this thread alone, I would make a WAG that he has not departed and we have NOT been too ruff on this member. So, with the question of this thread having been answered, I make a motion that this thread be abanded forthwith. All in favor, say "Aye!"
That is correct - who IS on first. Oh, shucky darn. Here I go drifting off topic again. I hate it when I do that.
