Im curious as well. It really does not matter though since unless you live in a state that touches IL or buy their fancy card, you cant buy ammo there.
It can vary from day to day. I have gone in on occasions and seen several pallets of ammo in the middle of the aisles. Other days nothing to be had. Sporting goods manager says they don't know what or how much they are getting until it arrives.
I was talking with Tom from Guns Unlimited at the SCTP last week and he told me that every Feb. he gets 160 pallets of AA's from Winchester and that this year he has gotten 30 pallets of Winchester shells with only one pallet of AA's. I'd say the trap season is over for the year. He told me that Walmart was getting all of them so maybe you'll see a bunch there next month.
Heres a update to the Ammo at the Walmart in Sparta, Yesterday Friday the 23rd there wasnt anything you would want to shoot trap with. It is true a few pallets come in and soon as everyone finds out they are gone. I would also agree with the AIM shoot starting next Friday there should be some show up. Roll the dice!
