Grand? We won’t get a guarantee from Illinois

As per my pals and gals in the trenches (you know who you are)

Any letters given to the ATA from Illinois will not guarantee that the ATA can hold any major events like the Grand at Sparta.

There is that date that is kicked around. May 1. That sounds like the line drawn in the sand. There will not be a guarantee given by Illinois on that date. The ATA may get some wording that implies “so far so good.”

Do we even need a Grand? There are end of year shoots in other places.
