Ok guys, I know I'm ready to stir the pot--I shoot on a regular basis with an all American & he says prior to coming to Fl I'm AA27AA, when I leave I'm B25 B My biggest problem in Fl is morning light--Fl is 50 minutes behind when it comes to daylight when compared to the east coast, even though whe're in the same time zone Honestly, I feel all trap shooting in Fl, should start at 10 AM, it may be ok east but in FL the right hand targets are very "skinny"
Trap shooting, as far as I've always been told is primarily visual, it doesn't matter the background, wind , but if there is enough light to highlight the targets is after 10 AM
You are correct, especially this time of year. Same way on the skeet field. There’s about a 20 minute window when it’s really hard to see a low house target.
I have my eyes closed at times when I shoot skeet. When it happens, I'm usually thinking of all the trapshooter's daughters I've diddled over the years.
Well, yes, yes you are! I was just thinkin' that some of the dads might be wanting to look you up, so I figured it was only fair that you share the young ladies' names. You're willing to do that, aren't you?
All I'm willing to say is that they were all well beyond the legal age of consent. Now, I know that you trapshooters usually look at it like "hey, she was built like a 17 year old" but not me. Once again, I'm a gentleman.
You could be right, but to lots and lots of dads who may have daughters "beyond the age of consent," their daughters will always be their babies and the apple of their eyes. To say that "some of those trapshooters' daughters look like men" may, however, be viewed by some as conduct unbecoming a gentleman, but you will have to be the one who makes that final call. Be prudent, though. You don't want to give skeeties a bad name.
The problem is a local range likes to shut down real early--singles are usually done by 9:30, then caps are done by 10:00, this when they have big 50's--my shooting bud shot a 41 in singles then a 48 in caps--more light better scores & its gonna get worse when the clocks change in a few weeks, less light that means we are supposed to shoot @ the equivalent of 8 AM
I’ve mulled over your statement and after some quiet introspection I’ve decided you’re right. I was about to tell the story of how I found out a trapshooter’s wife had a tapeworm. But, now, I’ve decided it wouldn’t be the gentlemanly thing to do.
OMG......ROTFL...Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaa. O God Agnes...that's just too damn funny. Dick, you made my day with your clever banter.
