SKB 585 nickle plated receiver and forend iron. 12ga, for over/under, unsingle, and top single barrels. Japanese manufacture. Short tang trigger guard. Very good condition, lightly used with some marks. Includes the forend screws and the stock bolt/nut/washers. Happy to take additional pictures or answer any questions. SKB in Omaha still has parts and does service for these guns, and will fit a barrel to it for a reasonable fee. Great way to turn a trap combo into two guns, or just have a backup receiver in case yours breaks. The value of the parts alone likely exceeds the asking price. $450 shipped to your FFL.
been in contack with skb you are looking over 2 grand plus your fee 4 your parts plus shiping your at 2500
2 grand for what? When I contacted them they told me they had no barrels left, and limited wood. What exactly were they going to provide you for 2 grand? Obviously it wouldn't make much sense to buy all new parts to build this into a gun (same as it wouldn't make sense to buy all new parts to build yourself a car because you had already had an engine), but it will make a good spare/backup, or can be used to build another gun from if you want to break apart a combo. Hell, just going down their parts list, I calculate $750 worth of parts, and that's only going HALFWAY down the list, and doesn't include the receiver itself or the forend iron! The hammers, hammer springs, and sears alone are 2/3 of my current asking price... Conversely, there are 30" trap barrels on ebay right now for 500 bucks, so you could probably have all the parts for around a grand if you played your cards right if you did actually want to try and assemble this into a complete gun. Stocks, forends, and barrels all come up on ebay and gunbroker.
Last reduction to $200 shipped to your FFL. I'll start disassembling the receiver and putting what parts I can on ebay next week, I can likely get my asking price or more doing this and just scrap the receiver itself.
